'Cheraw' - a traditional folk form of Mizoram by Virajitha, in which bamboo stakes are clapped to produce a sound which forms a rhythm for the dance, December 5, 6.30 pm, at Lamakaan: Off Road No 1, opposite GVK One, Banjara Hills.

'Folk Dances of Tamil Nadu' - as part of the Hyderabad Maanagar Tamil Sangam's anniversary celebration, a folk dance troupe from Tamil Nadu will perform their colourful and vibrant dances like Kavadi Attam, Karagaattam, Mayil Attam, Poikkal Kudirai, Kali Attam, Oyilattam, Thappattam, December 16, 10 am, at Phoenix Arena: Hitec City.
