Telangana Tourism organizes a scared trip called Basara tour where visitors are treated with a wonderful experience at historic temples such as Dichpally Ramalayam, Laxminarasimha Swamy Temple, Raghunathalayam, Kalabairava Temple in Nizamabad district of the state. The trip, which is organized every Saturday offers transport through a Non A/c Coach and the tour is for duration of two days.
The first temple on the itinerary is the 14th century Dichpally Ramalayam, also called as Khilla Ramayanam. It is considered as one of the oldest temples in Nizamabad, dedicated to the worship of Lord Rama. The temple as built by Kakatiya kings and is one of finest examples of the stone architecture of yesteryears.
