Global Recognition for Hyderabad, 2nd best place to see in 2015
A moment of reckoning for Hyderabad. Hyderabad has now been ranked as the “second best place in the world that one should see in 2015,” according to a leading international travel publication.
The Presidio of San Francisco in the US has been ranked first on this list called "Best of the World - 20 Places You Should See in 2015" list, that was recently published in the annual guide of 'Traveler' magazine of National Geographic.
The December 2014-January 2015 issue of this periodical ranks Hyderabad at second position on this list. This include other cities such as Zermatt in Switzerland, Choquequirao in Peru, Koyasan in Japan, Sark in Channel Islands, National Mall in Washington D C, Corsica, Oklahoma City, and Maramures in Romania
The periodical has described that the ‘Stories of Hyderabad's poetic past weaves amid ythe strings of programming code in the important South Eastern India city which was home to one of the richest men in the world, Mir Osman Ali Khan, who was also the last ruling Nizam of Hyderabad.
It also speaks regarding how Hyderabad has become a perfect hub for many global IT brands, and also the opulent Taj Falaknuma Palace, fifth generation pearl merchants, Irani cafes, and other key attractions.
This global recognition for Hyderabad is considered as a feather in the cap for the city, which boasts of a rich history and stands at the cusp of a glorious future.
