Telangana Tourism, from its inception in June 2014 has been implementing a range of new initiatives in the state’s tourism sector. These new plans envisage offering world-class services for tourists while developing the various destinations of the region. In this regard, Telangana Tourism has introduced the concept of ‘Hyderabad Helicopter Joy Rides’ in the city of Hyderabad.

The objective behind introducing the one-of-its kind helicopter ride in the city of Hyderabad is to offer a compelling experience to the visitors and tourists. Flying in a Helicopter is indeed a dream come true for many of us and now a helicopter ride of the expansive geographical region of Hyderabad covering important destinations by air is a new milestone offered by Telangana Tourism.

This new initiative of Telangana is expected to offer both the local citizens and tourists a novel and rare opportunity to fly and experience the wonders of our city from an aerial view, in collaboration with M/S Indwell Aviation Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad.

The destinations covered include Birla Mandir, Buddha Statue, Charminar, Falaknuma Palace, Salarjung Museum, Hi Tech City, Golconda Fort, Assembly, City High Court and Public gardens. The Hyderabad Helicopter Joy is open from 9 AM to 5 PM and the starting point is People's Plaza, Necklace road. The price per person is INR 3499/- and there are 20 Tickets available per hour on a 4-Seater Helicopter. There would be 5 Slots for every hour. The first phase of fully fledged operations for visitors starts from Thursday, 3rd Mar 2016 to Tuesday, 15th Mar 2016.
