Tirumala Tour
Telangana Tourism has been at the forefront of organizing various package tours to leading divine destinations all over. Every day from Sunday to Thursday, there is a package tour organized for one day two nights involving A/C Volvo coaches which covers Tirupati, Tirumala and Tiruchanoor. This includes Seegra Darshan. Every week on Friday & Saturday Telangana Tourism organizes a trip by Volvo Coach for two days and three nights covering Tirumala, Tiruchanoor, Sri Kalahasti, Kanipakam, Srinivasa Mangapuram & Kapila Theertham.
This trip is a wonderful experience where you can visit the divine dwelling of Lord Venkateswara where the Srivari temple is revered very much by the devotees. The ancient holy temple of Sri Venkateswara is located on the seventh peak of the sacred Seshachalam hill range, close to Sri Swamivari Pushkarini. The sanctum sanctorum of the world famous Tirumala Temple houses the seven-feet idol of Lord Venkateswara which has been attracting millions of devotees for many centuries. The trip also takes tourists to the renowned temple of Padmavathi Ammavaru at Tiruchanoor, located close to Tirupathi. The Goddess is considered the consort of Venkateshwara Swamy and is visited by devotees after worshipping the main deity at Tirumala.
The trip also takes tourists to Srikalahasthi which is considered as one of Panchabootha Sthalams, representing the Vayu Sthalam. This is the only shrine for the God Vayu, who is incarnated in the form of Lord Shiva and worshipped here as Kalahasteeswara. The temple at Srikalahasti town is famous for performing poojas that is known for curing various doshas such as Sarpa, Rahu and Ketu. This temple is also regarded as Dakshin Kasi. The next destination is the famous shrine of Kapila Theertham which is the only temple of Lord Shiva located in a 50-mile radius of the holy temple destinations of Tirupati and Tirumala which is home for many temples of the Vaishnavaite god Vishnu. At this temple located on the entrance to a large mountain cave at the foot hills of the hill range, one can explore the cascading waters of the mountain stream called Paapa Vinasanam which descends in the form of a huge waterfall.
