Bogatha Waterfall

Bogatha Waterfalls is one of the famous tourist sites in Jayashankar (Bhupalpally) District, it is situated near Chikupally Village in Wajedu Mandal. This beautiful waterfall is located in the dense forest which is 30 meters tall with a span of upto 200 meters across, dependent on the season, the water is collected into a large pool at the bottom of the falls. Swimming in the pool is a favorite activity.
The area surrounding Bogatha waterfall is also a fantastic place for bird watching. There is a temple dedicated to Sri. Bhogadri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy adjacent to Bogatha Waterfalls. The upper part of the waterfalls can be reached from the temple.
