The Singur Dam is a reservoir built for hydroelectric and irrigational purposes. It also serves as a source of drinking water for Hyderabad. The Singur Dam is located in Sangareddy of Medak district in Telangana.

This is a very popular tourist destination in Telangana. The deep waters of the reservoir are home to about 1000 crocodiles. The construction of this dam was completed in 1989.
